Erasmus Mobility
Erasmus \/ Erasmus+<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The University of Rijeka has been participating in the Erasmus program since the 2009\/2010 academic year. Erasmus+ program is focused on strengthening knowledge and skills, improving education and training and employability of European citizens. Through the Erasmus+ program, students can achieve the following activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Student exchange for the purpose of a study stay – (3 – 12 months) – includes the creation of a final thesis (does not include independent research that is not an integral part of the study). Erasmus+ study stay students of the Faculty of Dental Medicine can spend their time at one of the Universities with which the Faculty is affiliated concluded bilateral Erasmus+ contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Professional practice for students – (2-12 months). Professional practice can last at least 2 months, a maximum of 12 months, which is defined by the receiving institution in agreement with the student. Student by himself  or  in agreement with the coordinator at the faculty,  finds an institution\/company where he will perform his professional practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional practice should be connected with studies at the home university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the Erasmus+ program, the mobility of staff who can carry out the activities in question is also possible holding classes and professional development for the duration of 5 days to 2 months. Staff and students are allocated funds for travel expenses and per diems for the number of months\/days in for the duration that the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs assigns to the University of Rijeka. Competitions for Erasmus+ study stays and professional internships are published on the website of the University of Rijeka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
