Faculty Days 2026 were celebrated from 26 to 28 February 2026<\/strong>, bringing together a series of academic, professional, and student-oriented events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program opened with a Ceremonial Session<\/strong>, during which the Dean, Prof. Prim. Dr. Sc. Sonja Pezelj-Ribari\u0107<\/strong>, presented awards and recognitions to the most successful scientists, students, and athletes for their outstanding achievements in 2025<\/strong>. The occasion highlighted the results and accomplishments that contribute to the Faculty\u2019s academic excellence and reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the program, a student workshop titled \u201cSurgical Suturing\u201d<\/strong> was organized by Lovre Labura, DMD<\/strong>, and David \u0160aravanja, DMD<\/strong>, from the Department of Oral Surgery. Students had the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and practice various surgical suturing techniques. They were also introduced to opportunities for participating in the Erasmus+ programme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Scientific and Professional Forum<\/strong>, young researchers from FDMRI<\/strong> presented their research achievements, projects, and ongoing activities to students, encouraging interest in scientific work and academic careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A meeting of the Alumni Community<\/strong> was also held under the leadership of its president, Prof. Dr. Sc. Alen Braut<\/strong>, further strengthening the connection between alumni and current students while opening new opportunities for collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty Days concluded with a formal graduation ceremony<\/strong> held on Saturday, 28 February 2026<\/strong>. The ceremony took place in a warm and celebratory atmosphere, accompanied by music from HKZ Val<\/strong> and colleague Ivan Deli\u0107<\/strong> from the band Dijagnoze<\/strong>, successfully bringing the three-day celebration to a close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
