Call for applications – academic year 2025/2026
A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR ENROLLMENT INTO THE FIRST YEAR OF INTEGRATED UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE UNIVERSITY STUDY OF DENTAL MEDICINE (IN ENGLISH) LEADING TO THE ACADEMIC TITLE OF DOCTOR OF DENTAL MEDICINE IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026
Admission procedure
Applicants must apply for study programme:
- through the national application system at www.postani-student.hr and
- by submitting application directly to the Faculty of Dental Medicine.
Study program
Dental Medicine in English is Integrated undergraduate and graduate university study, with a 6-year duration. The maximum number of admitted students will be 12 and all the admitted students are expected to pay the tuition fee in the amount of 12.000,00 Euro per academic year. The cost of the application fee is 250, 00 Euro.
The academic year starts in October and admission is possible only into the winter semester.
The tuition fee can be paid:
- in full at enrollment or
- in two installments (6.000,00 Euro at enrollment, 6.000,00 Euro by November 15, 2025).
According to the Regulations of accounting policy of the University of Rijeka, a student who pays tuition in 2 (two) installments, is obliged to bring a promissory note from his home country of the amount of 6.000,00 Euro. The cost of enrolment for the academic year 2025/2025 is 50,43 Euro.
All prospective candidates who have completed the secondary school program requirements in the Republic of Croatia, or attained equivalent qualifications abroad, in the duration of at least four years, and who have taken the courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics for at least two years are eligible for admission into the first year.
Applications
Applications for the summer term should be sent by June 20, 2025 and for the fall term by August 22, 2025.
Entrance exam will be organized on-site on following dates:
- July 1, 2025
- September 2, 2025
Psychomotor Ability Test will be held online on the following dates:
- July 2, 2025
- September 3, 2025
The preliminary results of the entrance exam and psychomotor ability test will be published on official website of Faculty of Dental Medicine.
The fall entrance exam will take place only if there are available places left.
