Mission
The Faculty of Dental medicine is a higher education institution that contributes to science and education in the area of biomedicine and health care, specifically in the field of dental medicine as part of the European University of the Future, based on knowledge, excellence and innovation in education, research and treatment. Continuous education and excellence must be the core values of the Faculty.
Vision
The Faculty of Dental medicine strives to be a recognized and competitive higher education institution that adapts to the demands of the market and follows a clear development strategy based on learning outcomes, with the aim of mastering the knowledge and skills necessary for independent practicing of dental medicine. The Faculty continuously registers high interest from students, high employment rates, a significant contribution to public health and excellent opportunities for the development of teaching activities as part of the internationalization of the study programs.
In the field of scientific research, it forms a scientific core, which is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary centre linked to basic sciences and clinical medicine, not only at the University of Rijeka and with other universities in Croatia, but also within the European Union and beyond.
