The Faculty of Dental Medicine is announcing a call for the Dean’s Award for the success in the academic year 2022/2023.
Students of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Rijeka are invited to submit an application for the Dean’s Award for the academic year 2022/2023.
Criteria for awarding the Dean’s Award:
- Nominees for the award for individual years of study must be regularly enrolled in the following year, without having repeated the year during their studies, must have achieved all ECTS credits with a success rate of at least 4.00 from all passed exams and at least 4.50 in the subject of the year for which they are rewarded,
- Nominees for the award based on the entire course of study – graduate doctors of dental medicine and graduates of bachelor’s degrees must have an average grade from all years of study of at least 4.50, a thesis grade of at least 4.00, and the length of the studies is also taken as a criterion.
- Nominees for the award based on the criterion of clinical courses must have an average grade of at least 4.50 in the 4th, 5th and 6th years of study (without electives).
- Nominees will also be awarded points for socially useful work – volunteering, professional volunteering, participation in the work of the student newspaper, publication of scientific or professional works, top artistic achievements, representations in sports. The applicants must prove the above with a written confirmation.
A prerequisite for consideration of the application is complete and timely attached documentation, namely:
- candidate Application form
- the student’s CV
- evidence (certificates, works, etc.)
Certificates of student status and grade point average do not need to be submitted, as upon submission of documentation, student’s affair office will enclose the documents.
Application for the with complete documentation is submitted to the student service.
The application deadline for the Dean’s Award is from January 15th to January 26th, 2024.
